Daily Announcements

Good Morning Lutheran Central Saints!  Today is Wednesday, May 22nd.

Our scripture to stand on is Galatians 5:13, “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”

Students and families we are praying for this week are…

Kelis East, Brady and Ethan England, Ella Everhart, Kenley Fischer, Beau, Hudson, Olivia, and Quinn Fritz, Charli, Preston, River, and Ryder Garrison, Maggy Gill, Vanessa Goltry, Baylor and Remy Goshorn, Emalee Goss, Maddy Hackman, Payton Hankins, and Avery Harrison.

Happy Birthday to… Lily Wessel whose birthday was yesterday and to Sophie Wischmeier whose birthday is today.

Events Around Lutheran Central School…

Thank you to the LC families for your generous contributions during the May chapel missions.  We collected 61 jugs of Pine-Sol for Orphan Grain Train, which is well above the 44 that we set for our goal.  Several classes were able to reach their goal and should be receiving extra recess for their efforts. We also collected 1468 cans and boxes of food for Anchor House.  Mr. Sprengel has been patiently working around the stacks of cans for several days. The class that collected the most cans was sixth grade and will receive doughnuts for their efforts.  The support of our LC families for these worthwhile causes is very much appreciated.

Some of our rooms may not be accessible at random times of the day. We are currently acting on our connect broadband plans so there may be some wiring and installing situations in which access to the room they are working on is restricted.

Girls in grades 4-7 please remember to turn in your sports survey to the office by the end of the day tomorrow.  Thank you!

Here is Today’s Last Laugh…

I used to be a member of the secret cooking society, but they kicked me out for spilling the beans.

Have a great day with Jesus at your side!
