Mrs. Nickie Isaacs:  8th Grade and Middle School Science

Mrs. Isaacs graduated from Purdue University in 1993 with B.S., majoring in biology and math with secondary education. She received her Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1996. She also completed her colloquy certification in August, 2006. Mrs. Isaacs has been teaching since 1993 and at Lutheran Central since 2002. She currently teaches science to grades 5-8.

Mrs. Sarah Rohr:  7th Grade and Middle School Math

Mrs. Rohr graduated from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska in 1998 with B.A., majoring in elementary and secondary education with a concentration in math. She has been teaching at Lutheran Central since 1998 and currently is the 7th grade homeroom teacher and grades 5-8 math teacher. Mrs. Rohr also assists with National Junior Honor Society.

Favorite Bible Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord.  Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Mr. Walt Wintin:  6th Grade and Middles School Language Arts

Email:  [email protected]                                                                                                                                                                                   Walt Wintin earned a bachelors degree in Physical Education from Ball State University in 1985 and a Masters Degree in education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2002.  He also completed his colloquy certification in 2021. He has been teaching since 1986 and is the Language Arts teacher for grades 5-8 at Lutheran Central.

Mrs. Jessica Fritz – 5th Grade and Middle School Social Studies

Mrs. Fritz graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2001 with a B.S. degree in elementary education and an endorsement in middle school social studies. She has been teaching for the past 18 years. During that time, Mrs. Fritz taught third grade and then switched to eighth grade social studies. She earned her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction through Olivet Nazarene University in 2012.  She began teaching at Lutheran Central in 2021 and currently serves as the middle school social studies teacher.

Mrs. Ashley Waskom– Middle School Math

Mrs. Andrea McKinley – 4th Grade

Mrs. McKinley graduated from Ball State University in 2006 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She began teaching in 2006 and started part-time at Lutheran Central in 2015. She completed her colloquy courses in 2019.

Mrs. Suzanne Bolte – 2nd Grade

Mrs. Bolte graduated from Indiana University in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education.  She began teaching in 2002.  In addition to teaching 2nd grade Mrs. Bolte oversees the school library and coordinates the Accelerated Reader Program for grades K-4.  Mrs. Bolte completed her colloquy program from Concordia University, Chicago in 2015.

Mrs. Sophie Scarlett: 1st Grade

Mrs. Rachel Klosterman:  Kindergarten

Mrs. Klosterman graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2004 with a B.S. degree in elementary education. She holds a Kindergarten endorsement. Rachel received her colloquy certification from Concordia University, Mequon in 2008. She has been teaching at Lutheran Central since 2004.

Mrs. Heidi Scheiderer – Preschool

Mrs. Scheiderer graduated from Concordia University in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education and music.  She also has a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia.  She has been teaching for 15 years with nine years in music, one year in a Severe Special Needs classroom, and the last five in preschool.  Mrs. Scheiderer is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour where her husband is the music director.

Mrs. Danielle Rothert:  Intervention Specialist/Resource Teacher

Mrs. Rothert graduated from Purdue University in 2005 with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  She holds an endorsement in reading and completed the Colloquy program through Concordia University, Chicago in 2014.  She has been teaching since 2005 and at Lutheran Central since 2008.Favorite Bible Verse: “But seek first his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”  Matthew 6:33

Mrs. Jami Stuckwisch – Principal

Mrs. Stuckwisch graduated from Indiana State University in 2003 with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Child Development and Family Life.   She also has a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Indiana University.  She has worked as a School Counselor since 2005.   Mrs. Stuckwisch will be continuing her education by working toward principal licensure.
